The Watson Fire Rehab is our largest project to date—restoring 15 miles of burned trail over a 3 year span. Luckily for us, our dedicated volunteers continue to show up and blow us out of the water with their work ethic! This event in early July we tackled a mile long reroute of the trail, scraping in tread through mountain mahogany, manzanita, bed rock, and at least one grumpy rattlesnake’s nap spot.

All told we logged another 400 hours bringing our total for the project to over 2,000! This volunteer time is especially important on this grant project as it allows us to meet our match requirements and pay the contractor building the rim section. Thanks to all our industry partners, donors, and our volunteers for their support!
