The Oregon Timber Trail Alliance (OTTA) is a young nonprofit organization guided by an executive director and board of directors. We're currently looking for a few more passionate people to help develop and sustain our momentum and fulfill our mission. We're especially interested in increasing the gender, racial, and geographic make up of our organization.
As an OTTA board member you will have a voice in creating a significant positive impact on communities and wild places throughout Oregon, as well as creating life-changing experiences for travelers from around the world. Meet our current board members here.
We’re accepting applications through September 11th, 2020 with the hopes that new board members can join us for our board retreat in mid October.

Board of Directors
Role: Oversee committees, executive director, and guidance of organization.
Key Projects/Tasks: OTTA board members are expected to take an active role in monthly board meetings as well as participate in a committee of their choosing: Executive, Operations, or Development. Attendance at an annual retreat each fall season is highly encouraged. This averages out to about 6 hours per month minimum, but can vary depending on season or personal interest.
Each board member is expected to donate to the organization in a way that is personally meaningful to them. That can mean 5 volunteer hours, $50, or $5,000. There are no skill or certification requirements to board membership—it is our intent to make this role available without barriers to anyone interested. There are many opportunities for personal development within the OTTA and we hope each board member concludes their term having grown personally and professionally.
