Intro to Bikepacking: Workshop

credit: Everett O'Cillan

Discover the thrill of bikepacking in our home state along the newly established Oregon Timber Trail Gravel Route, a 560-mile bikepacking route, or the iconic Oregon Timber Trail, a 670-mile challenge. Since its inception in 2015, the Oregon Timber Trail has been connecting communities and backcountry landscapes through epic bikepacking adventures.

Outdoor recreation not only fosters personal growth and well-being but also boosts the economies of Oregon’s rural areas. Our mission is to make these experiences accessible to everyone, welcoming riders from all corners of the globe and all walks of life.

What you'll learn:

  • Essential packing tips

  • How to build your bikepacking setup

  • The best bikes for the journey

  • Organizing resupplies and maximizing your experience

Plus, discover how the Oregon Timber Trail Alliance is working to maintain and preserve both the original 670-mile premier bikepacking route and the new 560-mile gravel route from California to Washington.

Register for the event at REI Events that will be held at the Beaverton REI on May 3rd.
